I. Frog 蛙 
II. Butterfly 蝶
III. Fish 鱼

II. 物好きや  匂わぬ草に  止まる蝶
​monozuki ya/niowanu kusa ni/ tomaru chō
Eccentric
on grass devoid of fragrance
a butterfly settles

III. 行く春や 鳥啼き魚の  目は涙
​yuku haru ya/ tori naki uo no/ me wa namida
Departing Spring--
Birds cry, in the fishes’ 
eyes and tears

Two Sunrises In a Day

For Trumpet, Bassoon, Violoncello, Percussion, Harpsichord / 2021

It is a ritualistic evocation of a possible world with two sunrises in the day. I believe in the magic of imagination that can bring me to an otherworldly, primitive place where everything grows out of the energy of the sun.
